What To Expect

Belong here.

Every Bloom class is designed to be welcoming, safe, and genuinely fun. Here's what a typical class looks like:

1

Warm welcome

Your instructor greets every athlete by name. Classes start with a light warm-up that eases everyone in at their own pace.

2

30 minutes of movement

Adaptive, energetic, and tailored to each athlete's needs. You'll work at your own pace — with your instructor cheering you on.

3

Cool-down & community

Every class ends with a cool-down and a moment to celebrate what athletes accomplished — together.

For Families & Caregivers

Common Questions

Do athletes need previous fitness experience?+
Not at all. Bloom classes are designed for all ability levels, including complete beginners. Our instructors are trained to meet each athlete exactly where they are — and build from there.
Is Bloom safe for adults with dual diagnoses?+
Yes. Our instructors are trained to work with a wide range of needs, and we coordinate with your program staff to make sure every athlete participates safely and comfortably.
Can family members or support staff participate?+
Absolutely. Bloom classes are more fun with support people involved. Family, caregivers, and staff are always welcome to move alongside athletes.
What if my loved one uses a wheelchair or has limited mobility?+
Every Bloom format can be fully adapted, and our Chair Fitness class is built specifically for seated, full-body movement. Movement should never be limited by mobility.
How do I get my IDD provider to bring Bloom to their facility?+
Point them to our Partner With Us page, or share their contact info with us and we'll reach out. Bringing Bloom to a facility is simple and affordable.
Is there a cost for athletes to participate?+
There is no cost to athletes at partner programs — their organization covers Bloom through a low monthly program fee. The Bloom App is free for individual athletes to use.
